Job Description
We are looking for a Junior Cloud Network Engineer (local contract) to join our BPCE IT business Unit.

The Inet cloud team comprises 10 people and specializes in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructures, with two distinct areas of focus: private cloud and public cloud.
In the private cloud, we are responsible for the load-balancing service. This includes providing a "load-balancing as a service," as well as its evolution, automation and proper functioning. We ensure that this service meets the performance and reliability needs of the entire organization.
In the public cloud, our team manages the network along with several associated services, including DNS management, internet access, and the exposure of internal sites to the internet. We ensure that these services operate smoothly and securely while adhering to best practices in security and performance.
We utilize various technologies to achieve our objectives, including UBIKA, SkyHigh SWG, Infoblox, as well as managed services from cloud providers. Additionally, to automate our processes and improve operational efficiency, we leverage tools such as Python, Terraform, and Ansible.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure Design and Management:
Design, maintain, and manage both private and public cloud infrastructure.
Select and implement tools and technologies for optimal infrastructure performance.
Configure and administer various network components and services.
Load-Balancing Management (Private Cloud):
Design, deploy, and configure the "load-balancing as a service" specifically for the private cloud.
Monitor and optimize the performance of the load balancer.
Ensure the evolution, automation and updating of the service based on needs.
Network Services Management:
Administer DNS services and ensure their availability.
Manage internet access for users and applications.
Securely expose internal sites to the internet.
Process Automation:
Develop scripts and automation using Python, Terraform, and Ansible to improve operational efficiency.
Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for service updates.
Collaboration with IT Teams:
Work closely with application production teams to understand their needs and requirements.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to provided services.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Set up monitoring tools to ensure the availability and performance of services.
Generate reports on service usage and performance.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure the security of managed services and infrastructure.
Adhere to data security standards and regulations.
Documentation:
Write and maintain technical documentation for services and processes.
Create guides and procedures for internal users.
