Reporting directly to the Supply Chain and Procurement Manager, you will be required to work as an integral part of the team.

Job Summary
The Junior Category Manager supports operational and tactical aspects of indirect (OPEX) category-specific procurement activities. This role focuses on ensuring effective management of supplier relationships, purchase order processing, and inventory control within designated product categories.
This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply chain operations, contributing directly to the overall performance and profitability of the organization.
Key tasks & Activities
Acts as the primary contact for suppliers, handling communications and operational interactions to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any supply issues.
Issues and manages purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in terms of product specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines.
Contract Administration
Supports the negotiation and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and facilitating renewals or modifications as needed.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
Monitors supplier performance against established metrics such as delivery times, quality standards, and cost compliance, providing regular feedback.
Collects and analyzes data related to procurement activities, creating reports to help track spending, savings, and compliance with operational targets.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Works closely with other departments, such as Finance and Quality Assurance, to align procurement strategies with broader organizational goals and objectives.
Who we are looking for…
Background and Experience
Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1 year of experience in procurement, supply chain operations, vendor management (preferable but not mandatory).
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Interpersonal Skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with suppliers.
