Junior Buyer - Apparel

M/FCHALLENGE:As Junior Buyer you will work at our Head Office in Oporto in the Apparel category together with Buyers, Designers and Merchandisers, developing new collections for all Parfois' markets globally.We offer a challenging work environment where you will be learning since the first day. If your results are positive and you show ambition your career options at Parfois are never-ending!If you have an eye for global commercial trends and a sixth sense for what will sell, if you also are good at planning and checking lead times, and constantly searching for new sales opportunities… This could be the job for you!RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan and develop the brand´s future collections alongside the Designers, Buying and Quality Controllers and Upstream teams.Analyze trends and the impact of the products to provide insightful suggestions for product development.Manage all stages of the product´s life cycle (from planning, negotiating and purchasing the collection)Receive the product samples and insert product references into the database.PROFILE:Degree level (preferably in Management or Fashion Management)Minimum 1 year previous experience in Apparel is a mustExcellent communication skills and fluency in EnglishAbility to make decisions and cope with pressureCommercial awareness and knowledge in fashionGood interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiatingAvailability for international travelApply now!
