Job Description:We are seeking a talented and driven Financial Analyst to join our finance team based in Vilamoura, Portugal.The successful candidate will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities, contributing to the overall financial health of the company. This position is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to take on a broad range of responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:Financial Analysis & Reporting:Perform detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.Analyze variances between actual and budgeted figures, providing insightful explanations and recommendations.Budgeting & Forecasting:Assist in the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.Monitor and report on key financial performance indicators.Support strategic planning and business development initiatives through financial modeling.Accounting:Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and statements in accordance with applicable regulations.Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.Process payments for the team and external partners.Data Management & Process Improvement:Maintain and improve financial databases and models.Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency within the finance function.Support the implementation of new financial systems and tools.Collaboration & Support:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, to provide financial insights and support.Act as a financial liaison for various departments, providing advice and expertise as needed.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Studying towards a master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, ACCA, CIMA) is a plus.
