ZIB is the central IT service provider for the justice system in Lower Saxony and is responsible for a modern IT infrastructure with around 23,500 clients. Together with our 370 colleagues, we also run numerous digitization projects for a modern justice system.
To strengthen our team in the area SG3103 - Networks, we are looking for the Celle / Home Office location at the earliest possible date for a
System Administrator Network Infrastructure Data Center (f/m/d) Your tasks: As part of a 13-strong team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration and administration of the network infrastructure in the data center of the Lower Saxony justice system. The Lower Saxony justice system relies on a software-defined network from Cisco and an enterprise firewall infrastructure. As part of troubleshooting, you will carry out fault diagnoses and analyze them, if necessary also with the manufacturer.
The tasks include in particular:
Operating, monitoring and troubleshooting the data center network infrastructure Patch and release management for all system components Creation and further development of automated processes / creation of scripts Creation and implementation of technical concepts for the infrastructure Collaboration in innovative IT infrastructure projects for the justice system Visualization and documentation of project and work results What sets you apart: A relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) and at least two years of professional experience or equivalent skills and experience You have already worked in network administration and have good knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, WAN and VLAN as well as WLAN networks You are adept at analyzing network protocols using various tools You have basic knowledge of current security technologies, in particular firewalls, possibly also IDS and IPS systems Good general knowledge of Linux and MS Windows Server, as well as MS Windows client operating systems is required Ideally, you have already gained experience in the Cisco ACI environment What else we expect: Ability to work in a team, initiative and service orientation German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and IT-standard English language skills Willingness to travel on business within Lower Saxony the willingness to carry out a security check according to § 7 para. 1 of the Nds.
