In the area of basic infrastructure, our team is responsible for the SAN including storage and the mainframe. You can expect a collegial team where cooperation is based on respect and trust. Daily changing tasks and exciting projects are on the agenda. We are looking for a new colleague for the Würzburg site. Your tasks You will install, configure and operate our IT systems and devices (IT system administration) of SAN directors and access switches from the manufacturer Broadcom, core/edge storage systems Hitachi G5600 / Fujitsu DX incl. Quorum / GAD, protocol types S3 / File You install, configure and operate our IT systems and devices (IT system administration) from VTL (Virtual Tape Library) Centrics Store and Scalar Tape Robot I6000 from the manufacturer FTS/Quantum For in-house operation, configure and operate virtual Linux servers with the Red Hat Enterprise Linux V8 operating system You will also be responsible for monitoring our IT systems (this includes error analysis and troubleshooting) You will plan, design and document IT operating processes and work on IT projects (e.G. Tech Refreshes) and support automation with the help of scripts developed in-house You deal with the implementation and control of IT security measures (BSI-compliant action) As part of the tasks described above, you will take part in early and late shift operations (between 6 am and 9:30 pm) as well as on-call duties (alerting via telephone, SMS, messaging).
