Senior System and Network Specialist (m/f/d)
FOCUS ON VIDEO CONFERENCE SYSTEMS Reader Service Code: AS 2024_43
THESE TASKS AWAIT YOU You will design (in conjunction with the operations teams) the central video and audio conferencing systems and VoIP communication for the state administration and develop these further. You will develop and design new and modern system concepts as well as relevant processes to ensure proper data center operations. You will manage and coordinate the supervision of technical operations for both existing and new operational tasks and projects. You take on sub-project and project management. WHAT SETS YOU APART You have training or skills and knowledge acquired through relevant professional experience or a degree in computer science or a subject with an IT focus. You have in-depth knowledge of VoIP protocols and SIP trunking. You have relevant knowledge of network technologies and architectures of VoIP systems such as SBC and Soft PBX systems. You have extensive specialist knowledge and in-depth experience of common computer networks (especially IPv4, IPv6) and standard network protocols (including TCP/IP). You have knowledge of IT security, preferably according to IT basic protection of the BSI. If the requirements under collective bargaining law are met, a classification of tariff employees up to pay group 11 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) is possible.
THIS SHOULD ALSO BE NOTED
It would be excellent if you are familiar with Wireshark and CISCO (e.g. CISCO Meeting Server, CUCM, TMS). You convince through commitment, resilience, reliability, organizational talent and pertinent assertiveness. We are looking for colleagues who work systematically and independently, think in an interdisciplinary way and are enthusiastic about contributing to the existing team. You have the verbal and written German language skills required for the position. You have the willingness and ability to continue your education and to explore new topics independently. You are willing to work overtime and participate in a 24/7 on-call service remotely and/or on site and undertake business trips. You can only be hired if a security check can be carried out and there are no security-related concerns.
