Laboratory assistant (m/f/d)
Application reference number: meds-n-3a The Faculty of Engineering has several degree programs with a close connection to information technologies. We are looking for reinforcement to support teaching in the field of computer science.
What are the main tasks? Support in computer science teaching and the implementation of innovative teaching and research projects on premise and in the cloud. For example, in the area of data analytics or the development of information systems as web applications, mobile apps or distributed systems. Maintenance, operation and development of the IT infrastructure to support IT-related degree programs. Creation of instructions, documentation and materials in various media forms in German and English. What is important? High motivation and interest in innovative digitalization topics. - Enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams. Independent and goal-oriented way of working. Enjoy working with German and international students and lecturers. Basic knowledge of operating systems (esp. Linux) and computer networks Experience in the use of virtualization platforms (Proxmox) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) desirable. Experience with programming and scripting languages (C++, Kotlin, JavaScript or Python) an advantage. What are the recruitment requirements? Successfully completed training as an IT specialist or successfully completed university studies in computer science or a related subject with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. If the highest qualification was obtained at a foreign school, we require a certificate evaluation from the ZAB (Central Office for Foreign Education) before signing the contract.
