More than 500 employees of Stadtentwässerungsbetrieb Düsseldorf are responsible, among other things, for the disposal and treatment of wastewater produced in the Düsseldorf city area. In particular, Stadtentwässerungsbetrieb Düsseldorf maintains two large wastewater treatment plants of size class 5 for proper wastewater treatment, which must be continuously adapted to the changing environmental requirements.
The plant is located at the Düsseldorf-Süd sewage treatment plant.
Your tasks include: Software and hardware changes to the entire IT of the process control system and their documentation Maintaining and evaluating the monitoring, attack detection and defense systems Troubleshooting with a supporting function to other departments Weak point analysis and execution of optimizations in the respective systems Maintenance, servicing and patch management of all software and hardware components Implementation and documentation of the requirements of the IT Security Act in accordance with the "Water/Wastewater" industry standard Your profile: IT specialist specializing in system integration or digital networking or comparable qualification Sound knowledge of general IT and Windows operating systems for servers and workstations Good knowledge of firewalls, monitoring systems, routers and switches Willingness to participate in on-call duties and to work during off-peak hours (e.g. at weekends) Enthusiasm, commitment, high flexibility and ability to work both in a team and independently Possession of an unrestricted class 3/EU standard B driving license and willingness to use a private vehicle for official purposes in return for an expense allowance (also in the context of on-call duty).
