At the University of Applied Sciences South Westphalia, the following position is available at short notice in Department 6 "IT Services" (IT Central Services) at the Hagen or Soest site:
Specialist for IT security (m/f/d) Tasks Participation in the conception and implementation of security measures according to the IT-Grundschutz methodology of the BSI
Processing inquiries from the information security officer Design and implementation of security measures / processes for maintaining or optimizing the IT security level Participation in system administration, in particular the operational implementation of security measures at system level Requirements Completed university degree (Bachelor or FH diploma) in computer science, ideally with a focus on IT security; alternatively, completed relevant vocational training with proof of several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of work In-depth knowledge of security mechanisms at network, operating system and application level according to the state of the art in-depth knowledge of the administration of current server operating systems (Linux main distributions, Microsoft Windows), in particular for hardening systems and applications Knowledge of scripting, e.g. with PowerShell, batch, Python, bash Good knowledge of German (at least C1 level spoken and written) and good knowledge of English Open-minded, independent working style, initiative Service orientation and enjoyment of teamwork Knowledge of relevant standards of the Federal Office for Information Security, in particular the IT-Grundschutz compendium, as well as knowledge of current directory and authentication services (LDAP, SAML2, multi-factor authentication) is an advantage.
Terms of contract The full-time employment relationship is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) and is open-ended. Depending on personal qualifications, the position will be graded up to pay group 12 TV-L. In principle, the position can also be filled on a part-time basis. The working hours and place of work can be arranged flexibly within the framework of an existing model.
