Sustainability - responsibility - innovation The Directorate General of the Bavarian State Archives is the central state authority for all matters relating to archives in Bavaria. The office building is ideally located in the heart of Munich (near Odeonsplatz) and is easily accessible by all means of transportation. As the central authority of the Free State of Bavaria with state-wide responsibility, it is responsible for nine state archives.
To strengthen the "Digital Archive, Information Technology" department, we are looking for a
IT Operator (m/f/d) Your tasks will focus on data management. This includes, among other things:
Transfer, storage, backup, format conversion and provision of digital cultural assets Application of existing software solutions and execution of commands on the command line Your profile: Knowledge of a scripting language IT knowledge in the operating area (Windows / Unix server) Willingness to learn High motivation, independent working style and ability to act independently Team and communication skills Previous knowledge of archiving is an advantage, but not a prerequisite We offer: Remuneration according to pay group 10 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L) A responsible, interesting and varied workplace Working in a motivated and highly qualified team A workplace in a central location in Munich or at one of the seven external locations Flexible working hours and the usual social benefits of the public sector The Directorate General of the Bavarian State Archives promotes professional equality between women and men and welcomes applications from women.
