Your future field of work Your future place of work will be our Speyer site. Teamwork is very important to us. As part of a team of specialists, you will take care of the communication systems and tools (telephone, mobile devices, chat), the operation of the data network in the German Pension Insurance Rhineland-Palatinate and the implementation of the IT security and technical requirements of your area of activity (BSI basic protection). Together with your team, you will ensure a modern and secure IT infrastructure for the digitalization of pensions.
Your tasks You are jointly responsible for ensuring that the IT of the German Pension Insurance Rhineland-Palatinate functions securely and reliably and complies with current security standards.
You will work in a team and perform tasks in the area of communication / networks.
Your core tasks will include working on the Development, provision and support of internal network and communication solutions, Provision and support of the central dial-in infrastructure and the central components for the firewall environment, including a remote maintenance solution Implementation of change and incident management as part of IT process control, Creation of concepts and instructions, Implementation of the BSI requirements for IT security for the areas of activity of the Networks / Communication team, Supporting internal and external customers and service providers, Accompanying trainees, interns and interns in the area of networking and communication. You will also work on internal and external projects, working groups or specialist groups or lead internal projects yourself.

What you bring with you You have a university degree in the field of computer science, business informatics (e.g. Bachelor of Science) or have another qualification at level 6 of the German Qualifications Framework in a relevant IT-related profession (e.g. Operative Professional) In addition to very good knowledge and several years of experience in various IT subject areas
