Field of activity The IT department of Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund maintains a highly complex and diverse IT system landscape with over 1,500 experts for our specialist pension, rehabilitation and insurance procedures, our special procedures for private pension provision as well as our audit services and our corporate services such as HR and finance. When planning new projects, the IT department coordinates with its customers and the IT service providers of other pension insurance providers and works closely together on development.
Your tasks Our IT department has several vacancies for DevOps Engineers (m/f/div) in the area of application development and operations. The areas of application in our teams are diverse and open up individual development opportunities in various fields of work.
Creating IT-related analyses, developing and implementing automation concepts for the Cl/CD lifecycle as well as coordinating, planning and implementing IT processes Coordinating and developing Cl/CD templates and pipelines for building, testing and deploying software components Monitoring and controlling IT processes as well as problem analysis and troubleshooting Planning, conceptualizing and documenting DevOps processes and processing customer requirements Developing, implementing and monitoring IT security and quality assurance measures Leading or participating in project or working groups and committees (also across institutions) Your profile Successfully completed university education (Bachelor, Diploma FH) in the IT field or completed vocational training in the IT field or a comparable qualification in the IT field or comparable several years of practical work experience in the IT field Several years of practical work experience in the DevOps area Experience in building Cl/CD pipelines and deploying large software applications, for example with Jenkins, ArgoCD or Tekton Knowledge of container technology, preferably with Kubernetes Experience in configuration, administration and automation in the Linux operating system, for example with Python or shell scripting Advanced programming skills, for example in Java Experience with architecture concepts such as microservices, DevOps or GitOps We offer you An interesting and varied job with all the benefits of a large public employer A structured induction and very extensive training and development opportunities Family-friendly, flexible and service-oriented working time models The health of our employees is important to us. Employees covered by collective agreements:
The transfer of the new job on a permanent basis is generally preceded by a temporary transfer in accordance with § 14 TV DRV-Bund for the purpose of testing in this job. The temporary transfer lasts at least 6 months and should not exceed a period of 12 months. A personal allowance may be granted during the temporary transfer. Pursuant to Section 14 (3) TV DRV Bund, the personal allowance is calculated on the basis of the difference to the table remuneration that would have resulted from a permanent transfer pursuant to Section 17 (4) sentence 1 TV DRV-Bund. In the event of an unsuccessful trial, a return to the previous function level is provided for (possibly with the loss of the personal allowance).
Female civil servants:
The selected candidate will be assigned the new function on a permanent basis. Promotion to grade A 11 to A 12 BBesG is only possible after a successful trial within the meaning of § 34 BLV and fulfillment of all other requirements. In the event of an unsuccessful trial, a return to the previous function level is envisaged.
