THESE TASKS AWAIT YOU As a project manager, you will have technical and functional responsibility for projects in the area of financial applications and coordinate and manage the collaboration of all parties involved. You will create technical concepts for financial applications for the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and develop them further in consultation with customers You are the technical advisor to the responsible ministry, the state treasuries and a user group on process optimizations and technical adjustments and their implementation. You plan, optimize and develop central financial applications such as the uniform cash register procedure Rhineland-Palatinate (EKV), as well as other specialist applications. You are responsible for error and change management for the central financial applications WHAT SETS YOU APART You have completed an IT university degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree) or completed vocational training in an IT profession or have acquired the relevant knowledge and skills as part of the advertised job. Sound knowledge and relevant professional experience in the field of ICT, including in the following areas: Application development (.Net or JAVA) Knowledge of current test tools (soapUI or similar) Internet/Intranet Networks Relational databases (e.g. MS SQL, Oracle) Operating systems Experience in project management, conceptual work or the management of IT projects is desirable. If the requirements under collective bargaining law are met, it is possible to group employees up to pay group 11 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L).
