Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java 17 and the Spring Framework, ensuring robust performance and scalability; Utilize cloud tools such as AWS or GCP to build and deploy cloud-native applications, adhering to best practices in cloud computing; Implement microservices architecture, following industry standards and best practices for microservices design and development; Collaborate on the development of frontend applications using ReactJS and NextJS, ensuring seamless integration with backend APIs; Apply frontend design patterns and best practices to create user-friendly interfaces and enhance the overall user experience; Manage frontend build processes using tools like npm, node, webpack, and grunt to optimize application performance and maintainability; Contribute to the DevOps process by managing CI/CD pipelines and automating deployment tasks to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery; Take ownership of production systems, ensuring their stability, scalability, and security by implementing appropriate monitoring, alerting, and recovery mechanisms; Actively participate in Agile development practices, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Requirements: +4 years of experience in Java development; Strong experience in Java 17, the Spring Framework, and cloud tools such as AWS or GCP; Proficient in designing and developing microservices architectures; Familiarity with ReactJS and NextJS, with a good understanding of frontend design patterns; Experience in backend API integration and frontend build tools (npm, node, webpack, grunt); Solid understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and production system management; Experience working within Agile development methodologies; A great team spirit with the ability to work independently; Fluent level of English; Living in Portugal (hybrid role in Braga, Coimbra or Lisbon).
