Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst with proficiency in Japanese to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. As part of the quality assurance team, you will be responsible for evaluating and testing software products to ensure they meet high standards of functionality, performance, and reliability. This role requires close collaboration with developers and project managers to identify, track, and resolve issues efficiently before product launches.
The ideal candidate should be a Japanese speaker with strong analytical skills and a passion for improving software quality. You will contribute to delivering an exceptional user experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for manual and automated testing.
Analyze user requirements and technical specifications to ensure thorough testing coverage.
Perform functional, regression, and system testing to identify defects and areas of improvement.
Use tools such as JIRA to log, track, and manage defects throughout the development lifecycle.
Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Work closely with product teams to align testing efforts with business goals and user needs.
Provide clear and detailed reports on testing outcomes, defects, and suggestions for improvement.
Continuously enhance QA processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications Required:
Fluency in Japanese (both written and spoken).
Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, or equivalent.
Experience with both manual and automated testing.
Ability to identify and document defects clearly and accurately.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Preferred:
Experience with API testing.
Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
ISTQB certification is a plus.
