.Job Opportunity: Italian Chef Production in Bahrain The Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef for Pasta and Cheese Production to join our team in Bahrain. This permanent position will report to the Cheese Plant Manager and play a crucial role in directing and coordinating activities in our cheese production areas. The successful candidate will process raw materials and manufacture customer-specific products. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing production orders or schedules to plan department operations based on product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates. Overseeing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Cheese department. Directly managing non-supervisory employees, including interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Establishing production priorities and sequences for manufacturing products. Coordinating manufacturing activities to ensure products meet quality specifications. Reviewing production and operating reports to resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues, ensuring minimal costs and preventing delays. Inspecting machines and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance and utilization. Implementing standard operational practices and ensuring compliance through observation and supervision. The Skills You Will Bring to the Team: Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated leadership ability through example and knowledge sharing. Understanding of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and similar continuous improvement methodologies. Effective communication skills to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to define issues, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and delegate assignments. Proficiency in personal computer skills, including email, record keeping, database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, and graphics. Commitment to safety policies, practices, and procedures, and reporting all unsafe activities to supervisors and/or Human Resources.
