Randstad Digital is hiring an IT Release Manager, with experience in ERP's, for direct integration, in a company located in Porto.
Hybrid work model (3 days on-site; 2 days remote / week).
This professional will be responsible for managing the release of software updates, upgrades, and patches across all environments, including production. It is important to have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and should be able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
(Note: this professional will not manage other people)
Responsabilidades Chave- Develop and maintain release schedules and calendars.
- Manage the software release process from planning to deployment.
- Coordinate with teams to schedule release dates and ensure that all release activities are completed on time.
- Identify and mitigate potential release-related risks.
- Ensure that releases are compliant with applicable policies, regulations, and standards.
- Ensure that any new releases can be technically maintained over time.
- Communicate release status and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the change management team to ensure that changes are properly documented and communicated to stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the release process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain release-related documentation, such as release notes and user guides.
Competências- More than 3 years of experience in IT release management (in ERP environment is a big preference).
- Good ITIL knowledge (ITIL certification is valued).
- Knowledge of ERP systems and processes (IFS is preferred, but open to other ERPs).
- Experience managing the release of ERP services.
- Experience with service delivery tools, such as IT service management (ITSM) software and monitoring tools (ServiceNow is valued).
- Experience with release management tools, such as DevOps, GitLab, and Jira.
- Good project management skills.
- Understanding of service delivery processes, including SLAs, service catalogs, and escalation processes.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
- English communication skills (intermediate level B2 is a mandatory requirement, interviews will be in English).
