Job Description
The Life Insurance production team supports the BPCE Offers around life insurance products. They use more than 300 applications to promote Life Insurance offers to individuals, professionals, and retail clients from banks of the BPCE Group (Banques Populaires, Caisse d'Epargne, Bred…). The team is in charge of applications deployed in BP and CE agencies as well as end-user, backoffice and business applications to provide life, retirement, wealth transfer and death insurance products. This perimeter is required to provide 24/7 support due to its online digital banking activities and the execution of CFT's control/maintenance and night tasks.
These platforms run mainly on Linux system, Windows OS and public Cloud IAAS/PAAS such as Azure, AWS and GCP. Most applications are based on a third-party web architecture with Jboss/IBM HTTP Server, Tomcat and PHP with several databases including Oracle Exadata, MySQL and SQL Server.
The ODS and Datawarehouse are built with Informatica ETL and used by several reporting tools such as SAS, IBM Cognos, SAS, PowerBI or Data Labs on GCP. All installations are made with a DevOps mindset with XLDeploy/XLRelease for continuous delivery and release management. We also help dev teams to use build tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket.
The Team Leader deploys the BPCE Managed Services & Technologies strategy at the department level and leads its team on a human and technical level.

Deploy the Company's strategy at its department level and participate in the development of its business development plans;
Develop and evaluate employees' skills;
Support employees in their professional career;
Anticipate business developments and prepare employees for them;
Promote communication based on constructive feedback at the individual and collective level;
Clarify and illustrate development possibilities and needs for skills development;
Anticipate, define and implement changes in the organization of the activity within the company;
Create optimal conditions for defining and implementing changes: involve employees, communicate, support, and train;
Propose methods for integrating changes in the activity of the service concerned to promote their consideration;
Relay upward, downward and transversal communication;
Promote exchanges within his entity and within the company;
Ensure close proximity to employees and top-down communication regarding key Company topics.
Organize and facilitate daily activities and interactions with the company;
Implement and facilitate a continuous improvement process;
Provide business reporting and forecasting;
Contribute to budget construction, monitoring and risk monitoring.

Qualifications
What we're looking for
Qualifications and Hard Skills:

Strong experience in team leadership;
General knowledge of production tools like Scheduler (Control-M), Supervision (Zabbix, AppDynamics, ELK…);
General knowledge of deployment tools (GIT, XL Deploy, XL Release, Bitbucket);
Good knowledge of Unix and Windows systems and JBOSS;
Good knowledge of web applications and 3-tier architecture.

Soft Skills:

Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level (mandatory) and C2 level in French;
Strong organizational and project management skills;
Good experience in Agile & DevOps methodology;
Excellent verbal communication skills;
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
On-call required.
