Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Hosting Cloud Architect to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions. You will be part of the IT Infrastructure unit focusing on Migration, Design, and improvement projects across the globe. Our goal is to provide to our internal customers our end-to-end services with sector-specific expertise, advanced technologies, and global resources.
This position requires fluent English communication capabilities, both verbally and in written.
The successful candidate will have a deep and broad understanding of Infrastructure architecture, features, and integration capabilities for large enterprises. As an IT Hosting Cloud Architect, you will develop strategies and roadmaps that ensure optimal performance and productivity. You will be the technical lead on projects, and your responsibilities will cover the full project lifecycle, from the initial technical requirement gathering to the final solution handover, ensuring robust and scalable technical solutions that meet all internal customer needs.
Responsibilities:
Architect and deploy cloud infrastructure using industry-leading platforms such as AWS, Azure;
Design and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures to meet business requirements;
Design and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform;
Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, and architectural guidelines for cloud solutions;
Experience developing and migrating applications and services to MS Azure and/or AWS for at least 5 years;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and develop cloud solutions that align with business goals and promote sustainability;
Evaluate cloud technologies and services to recommend best practices and solutions for optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability;
Identify cloud architecture solutions aligned with business objectives to manage the cloud adoption process;
Nurture cloud computing expertise internally to drive cloud adoption;
Provide the development team with architectural blueprints or guidelines to follow;
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices;
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth;
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and improve our cloud offerings;
Engage closely with clients, partners, and other business units to develop and execute innovative and competitive solutions/projects for new and existing clients leveraging a wealth of previous experience in deploying cloud solutions;
Keep up to date with developments in current cloud computing solutions and processes;
Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, applications, and trends;
Hands-on development and architecture experience with current cloud technology standards like OpenShift, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, API;
Experience adopting a Secure Development Lifecycle in projects using SCA, SAST, DAST among other tools to foster security in the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Over 5 years in a cloud architect or similar role, preferably within IT service providers, with proven experience in AWS and/or Azure environments;
Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and IaC tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform);
Strong understanding of container orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift), automation tools (Ansible), and API development;
Experience with Secure Development Lifecycle practices, utilizing SCA, SAST, and DAST tools;
Communication & Leadership: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts, and mentor junior team members;
Analytical & Problem-solving Skills: Skilled in evaluating cloud technologies and architectures to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
