Linde Portugal IT Cloud Application Architect (m/f/d) Lisbon or Oporto, Portugal | req21716 What you will enjoy doing You will act as the primary liaison between business units and cloud administrators, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business goals You will lead topic management by overseeing the planning, prioritization, and coordination of application architecture requirements You will design cloud application solutions leveraging best practices in scalability, reliability and security It will be part of your skills to assess business needs and translate requirements into detailed technical designs and architectural strategies You will collaborate with stakeholders to define the scope, milestones, and timelines for cloud-based initiatives You will provide expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to guide architecture decisions and improve efficiency You will develop technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, workflows and solution roadmaps You will be the partner with cloud administrators to ensure proper implementation and performance of cloud systems You will be expected to proactively identify challenges and recommend solutions to improve cloud adoption and user experience, lead and facilitate regular discussions to align cross-functional teams, ensuring clarity and progress You will actively participate in the digitalization and task automation processes, contributing to the company's evolution towards digital transformation What makes you great You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) You have 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, application development, or solution design In addition proven experience managing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native application development You have a strong ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions You have proven experience in facilitating topic management, project planning, prioritization and background in enterprise-level cloud migrations or application modernizations Further more, you have understanding of cloud security best practices, DevOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools You have an exceptional organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to drive collaboration between teams and departments Preferred Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) and experience with Agile methodologies, project management tools, and topic tracking systems Are you ready to face new challenges and actively contribute to the success of the company's digital transformation project You are able to collect, interpret and use data effectively, driving digital transformation Why you will love working with us Thinking outside of the box, working on new topics and concepts, deliver great solutions to our internal customers is essential to bring success to our business.

This role is a full time position based on an unlimited contract.
