Description
The IT Business Consultant accompanies the business partner throughout the entire IT consulting process from order clarification to analysis of the actual situation, determination of the target status, derivation and development of the target solution to implementation and introduction of the target solution in the respective area.
Main responsibilities:
Conduct analysis of clients business and functional requirements and binds them with business processes;
Apply a broad toolkit of best practices and methodologies;
Support in determining the target state by applying creative, agile methods and procedures;
Organize and implement workshops to derive the target solution on the basis of the target state;
Coordinate the involved areas during the implementation of the target solution;
Oversee and assist project and change management;
First level support for the applications under responsibility.
Qualifications
Professional Skills:
IT University degree or similar background;
Fluent in Portuguese (mandatory);
Intermediate to advance written and spoken level of English (mandatory);
Other languages: Spanish and German to be considered;
Industry expertise;
Expert user of relevant office systems (O365);
Experience within a Mainframe environment (COBOL/CICS-DB2/IDMS), including corrective and evolutive maintenance and new developments (mainly legal requirements);
Experience translating software requirements into design specifications;
Adapt to changing products and technologies;
Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Big Data;
Familiar with Agile project management and Agile methods (e.g.SCRUM);
.NET and SQL knowledge: application first level support;
Knowledge in Cloud Technologies (Azure PaaS: Azure SQL DB, ADF, Synapse analytics) to be considered;
Design Thinking Experience;
Basic Knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR).
