The opportunity
As an IT Auditor, at the Assurance team, you will help organizations leverage technology to achieve a competitive advantage, advising on how to make IT more efficient and manage the risks associated with running IT operations.
Your key responsibilities Supporting multiple IT Audit projects for clients operating in the non-financial services market;Helping organizations identify and assess their most important IT risks, mitigating those risks while maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT and data, including business continuity management;Designing and monitoring IT General Controls and IT process reviews based on various IT governance and IT security standards (e.g., CobiT 5, ITIL v.3, ISO 27001);Supporting the design and implementation of efficient measures (assessment of IT processes that includes Security Policies and procedures, Incident Management, Continuity and Service Availability, Change Management, User Access Management, Physical and environmental security, Business Continuity Management);Assessing the evaluation, definition, and implementation of risk, governance, and regulatory compliance initiatives for IT functions;Working with external audit, internal audit, IT departments, and business functions to support the implementation and maintenance of reliable IT environments, systems, and data;Supporting team management;Acting as mentor and coach to junior team members and leading by example;Understanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing/presenting ways to serve clients.Skills and attributes for success Demonstrated technical knowledge of IT environments and controls and risk-based auditing methodologies;Ability to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business;A risk-focused mindset;Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;Ability to deliver multiple projects and present information in a clear and concise manner;A strong work ethic;Forward thinker and self-starter;Creative, proactive, team player able to work under pressure;Business mindset and some commercial acumen.To qualify for the role, you must have Academic education in financial, technological, or analytical fields of study;At least 1-2 years of professional experience related to IT Audit, Technology Risk, or similar;Experience in a consulting environment is valued;Good knowledge of the main IT and Audit controls, fundamentals, and requirements;Focus on project management;Ability to think outside the box and create multidisciplinary solutions;Full English proficiency;Availability to work in Portugal and abroad.What we look for
