At SE TCF PF IPF (Investments and Public Financing), we manage SE's Investments, including minority shareholdings of SPVs, to benefit all Business Areas (GS, GT, TI, and SGRE). We collaborate with Project Development, Sales, and Business Development teams, and engage with corporate functions (e.g., Accounting, Legal, Compliance, Taxes) to ensure profitable, risk-minimized, and compliant project development and investments. Additionally, we facilitate access to Public Financing tools, such as Governmental Guarantee support, general ECA financing support (excluding project-specific ECA support handled by SE TFC PF AM and EMEA), governmental investment support for domestic projects, and other public funding solutions, especially for new and green technologies.
How You'll Make an Impact Act as the financial counterpart to the named Deal Lead for assigned investments.Support and handle investment portfolios and pipelines according to guidelines, policies, and procedures, in close collaboration with development teams and relevant SE Corporate Functions.Coordinate financial aspects of assigned investments to improve value, assure quality, and minimize losses by taking Board Director or Board Observer positions in portfolio companies.Involved in the evaluation, management, and mitigation of investment risks during opportunity selection, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and asset/portfolio management.Respond promptly to project-specific business needs, including preparation and support for top management communication, risk reviews, approval documentation, and reporting.Improve investment practices through continuous enhancement of targets, terms, negotiation strategies, underwriting standards, governance documentation, and investment theses.Finance/Asset Controlling: Control current and future shareholdings in your assigned investment portfolio (minority shareholding in project-specific SPVs) and pipeline, in close collaboration with the modelling & analytics teams and relevant SE Corporate Functions (e.g., accounting, taxes, legal, and compliance) and development teams within the Business Areas.Support closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring consistent and timely adherence to global reporting requirements.Actively support payment processing, invoice substantiation, project budget maintenance, document archival, and maintenance of data repositories.Ensure the implementation of relevant processes, control mechanisms, and applicable guidelines (internal and external) in current and new investments.What You Bring Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or a related quantitative field from a top international university; a master's degree or higher is preferred.Over four years of experience in finance and investment roles, such as transaction advisory, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, financial planning & analysis, or management consulting.At least two years of experience within Siemens Energy (or Siemens AG) is helpful, with familiarity in Siemens Energy reporting guidelines (IFRS), accounting tools, internal controls (RIC), and systems.Proven expertise in accounting, controlling, financial analysis, modelling, valuation, and due diligence.Experience leading global project teams and interacting with various management levels.Knowledge of large-scale energy and infrastructure projects, including development processes, financing methods, legal documentation, and due diligence.Skilled in international negotiation and conflict resolution, with strong planning and organizational abilities under tight deadlines.Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in German or Spanish is a plus.About the Team In our Business Functions, we enable our organization to reach their targets by providing best-in-class services and solutions in the areas of IT, HR, Finance, Real Estate, Strategy & Technology, and more.
