Responsibilities:
You will be an integral part of the Investment team, playing a critical role in shaping Powerdot's investment strategies and fostering relationships with our investors.
This brings you close to all the Investment decisions for Powerdot globally, but also to Investor Relations and Funding matters.More specifically, you will have the following missions:
Investment Analysis: Manage the investment decision process, ensuring a smooth process from deal prospection to contract signature. You will also explore new investment opportunities, assess its economic value and present recommendations to the CIO and Board of Directors for relevant projects;
Investor Relations: Participate in discussions with Powerdot financing partners and shareholders, leading regular and ad-hoc analysis or liaising with other teams;
Funding: Support on the analysis of the various financing options and structures;
Ad-hoc analysis to provide the different managers with information for decision making;
Special projects: participate in M&A activities, creation of JVs and other corporate development projects.
The Candidate we are looking for:
Your will gain over time a deep understanding of the EV Charging industry and be a champion of Powerdot's strategy, understanding the role of each department in Accelerating Sustainable Mobility.
Inquisitive and detail-oriented, but also bold and creative to propose alternative approaches to the opportunities faced by Powerdot;
Good communication and presentation skills;
You have a owner mindset, and are able to work with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility;
Data-driven and analytical mindset;
Proficiency with Spreadsheets (Excel or GSheets);
Master's degree in Management, Economics or Engineering;
At least 2 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance or Strategy/Corporate Development (internal or consulting teams);
Fluent in English;
Based in Lisbon
