Job Description As a Purchasing Intern at Bosch, you will gain exposure to various aspects of the purchasing process, including data management, reporting, process improvement, project support, commercial and purchasing tasks.
Your contribution to something big: Quality Purchasing Update data for reports and Power-BI dashboards;Distribute reports internally;Create new Power BI dashboards, enhance and improve existing dashboards;Support colleagues with our IT-tools;Archive documents in the IT systems;Support the development and description of processes, flowcharts and work instructions;Support or drive process improvements;Create and maintain homepage.Indirect Purchasing: Support the Purchasing team on project adherence and tracking;Support on identification of new purchasing projects;Drive conclusions out of processed data;Support on Forecast and Business Plan data for tools area;Commercial purchasing tasks such as supplier selection, market requests (RfQ), comparison of quotations (CoQ) based on total cost of ownership (TCO) requirements;Support on suppliers' negotiation process together with buyers;Integration in multinational team, located in different plants. Purchasing Quality Expert: Assist with component / product approvals and maintain / upload information to our ERP;Assist in the evaluation of quarterly market intervention reports;Support the purchasing quality department KPIs;Analyze components received from the market;Follow-up activities with suppliers (e.g. OPL, quality issues).The responsibilities will be adjusted according to your qualifications and interests.
Qualifications What distinguishes you: Academic Background: Industrial Engineering and Management, Business Management, Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar;Good analytical skills, structured way of working and pro-active attitude;Interest in purchasing strategy and projects;PC literate (e.g.: MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint);Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus;Good level of English and Portuguese, both written and spoken.
