We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated International Transport Manager to oversee and optimize all transport activities along their assigned route. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of transport operations, ensuring timely and cost-efficient deliveries.
This role involves close interaction with external clients, continuous performance monitoring, and active participation in a collaborative team environment. The International Transport Manager will also be committed to personal and professional growth, staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee daily transport operations on your assigned route, serving as a key interface between our international partners. You'll gain hands-on experience in pricing strategies and profitability management for international transports.
Negotiate transport deals with existing partners and take the lead in expanding our network by acquiring new international clients. You'll have the opportunity to strengthen these relationships through business trips across Europe.
Actively support your team to ensure problems are solved in a timely manner, fostering a strong spirit of teamwork and shared success.
Requirements:
Fluency in English: Mandatory, as it is the company's working language. Knowledge of additional languages is a strong advantage.
Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with international partners and negotiate deals effectively.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong capacity to think critically analyze data and make informed decisions.
Teamwork: Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse and team-oriented environment.

Additional Information:
Moving to Austria is MANDATORY for this position. You may be selected to work at one of our 5 branches located in Kundl, Vienna, Salzburg, Spittal an der Drau or St. Pölten.
This is an on-site position, home-office from abroad is NOT an option.
