.The International Income Tax Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of international income tax at Squarespace. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will be a key member of the Tax team and your primary focus will be on identifying and driving income tax efficiency and compliance. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in supporting the optimization of IP ownership, maximizing cash in the U.S., managing long-term tax models, and overseeing transfer pricing documentation. This role will be an individual contributor position with the opportunity to grow a team as the Company grows.This is a hybrid role working from our NYC office.You'll Get To...Manage third-party advisors and partner with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency in our tax practices.Identify and implement strategies to maximize foreign tax credits.Drive efficiency opportunities related to international tax structures and operations.Oversee international aspects of the company's provision and return, including FDII, GILTI, BEAT, and Pillar 2 considerations.Support Treasury objectives by maximizing cash flow within the U.S.Support the Head of Tax in optimizing intellectual property (IP) ownership and tax-efficient structures.Prepare and review transfer pricing calculations and documentation including coordination with external tax advisors.Review inter-company transactions and forecasts to ensure compliance with policies on a quarterly basis.Oversee the process for preparing and filing foreign income tax returns including coordination with external tax advisors.Forecasting and payment of foreign income tax payments.Support the U.S. Income tax team by reviewing the 5471s and other international aspects of the U.S. return including GILTI, FDII and BEAT calculations.Preparation and review of Form 8975 (Country by Country Report).Assess and document PE risks, providing guidance on appropriate mitigation strategies.Manage and maintain a long-term tax model, incorporating key adjustments and sensitivities over a five-year period.Preparation and review of international aspects of quarterly tax provision.Preparation of tax provision for inclusion in Local GAAP statutory accounts of foreign entities.Who We're Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification.Extensive experience (8+ years) in income tax management in a multinational corporation or public accounting firm.In-depth knowledge of international, including international aspects of U.S. federal income tax laws and regulations.Ability to identify tax planning opportunities and risks.Experience with transfer pricing documentation and compliance.Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external advisors.Benefits & PerksA choice between medical plans with an option for 100% covered premiums
