An international competition based on qualifications is open for the recruitment of 1 (one) Assistant Professor for the Mirandela School of Communication, Administration and Tourism, under an employment contract in public service for an indefinite period, with a probationary period of five years, for the Disciplinary Area of Informatics and Mathematics, sub-area of Computer Science.
General requirements for admission to this competition are those provided for in article 17 of the General Law on Employment in Public Functions, approved by Law no. 35/2014, of June 20, in conjunction with article 12.º-E of the ECPDESP.
Special admission requirements are:
Holding a Doctorate or Specialist Title in the area related to this competition.
Candidates holding qualifications obtained abroad must prove the recognition, equivalence or registration of the doctorate degree, in accordance with applicable legislation.

Failure to submit required documents or submission outside the stipulated deadline will result in exclusion from the procedure.
Candidates who provide services at the IPB are exempt from presenting documents that already exist in their individual file.
Selection Criteria
The criteria for selection and ranking of candidates include:
Technical-scientific performance (50%);
Pedagogical performance (40%);
Other activities relevant to the institution's mission (10%).
In assessing technical-scientific performance, criteria include academic training, quality and dissemination of research activity results, and quality of research projects and contracts.
In assessing pedagogical performance, criteria include teaching functions, participation in juries, and organization of congresses and conferences.
