Necton is one of the leading companies in the production and commercialization of Traditional Sea Salt and Flor de Sal from Portugal. To support our international expansion plan, we are hiring an International Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Develop and manage relationships with international retail partners and distributors, especially within premium grocery, gourmet, and specialty store channels.
Product Portfolio: Manage a portfolio of products, focusing on communicating the origin, taste, health benefits, quality, and sustainability of the products to strengthen brand appeal.
Market Expansion: Identify and approach new global markets while consolidating relationships with high-value partners. Adapt product positioning to regional consumer preferences and ensure prominent shelf placement.
Brand Representation and Education: Serve as a brand ambassador, educating clients and consumers on the unique qualities and production methods of the company's products. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to highlight the authenticity and premium appeal of the products.
Autonomy and Reporting: Report directly to the Global Sales Director with a high degree of autonomy, leading strategic decisions to drive international growth and brand recognition.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience Level: Proven experience of at least 3 years in international account management, preferably in the specialty foods sector or similar industries.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the global specialty food market, with a focus on artisanal and premium products. Experience in sustainable or organic products is a plus.
Key Qualities: A proactive professional with attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills, with an appreciation for high-quality traditional products. Must be adept at adapting strategies to international markets and diverse consumer profiles.
Excellent level of English. Knowledge of other languages will be highly valued.

We prefer in-person work at our offices in Leiria/Olhão, with flexibility for hybrid work.
