Instruments Engineer
Mission:
Carrying out complete small and medium-sized engineering projects in an integrated manner, including design, budgeting, detailed design, consultation, tendering, construction supervision, coordination of the various disciplines and commissioning, in accordance with established policies and standards, to ensure a high level of operation and maintenance of existing equipment.
What you'll do:
Taking charge of each project as a whole, integrating and coordinating the various disciplines and Service Providers, namely: Receiving requests from internal customers; identifying constraints; identifying other potential equipment in the same situation; converting requests into projects.
Carrying out studies in accordance with best practice, complying with the applicable regulations, gathering input from third parties (Manufacturers, Technology, Inspection, Reliability, Safety), choosing the best technical solutions, either by themselves or using Engineering Companies.
Carrying out detailed projects, defining specifications, drawing up drawings and calculations and defining spare parts, either on their own or with the help of engineering companies.
Conducting risk analyses in accordance with company regulations and involving the relevant stakeholders.
Making cost estimates for each project, for budgeting.
Drawing up specifications, issuing market consultations (with the support of the Purchasing Area), analyzing tenders, issuing technical opinions for awarding contracts and taking delivery of materials and services.
Supervising construction, following it on site and drawing up regular progress reports with the resident or contracted Service Providers.
Conducting the complete commissioning of the project, leading the tests and trials and ensuring commissioning and handover to Internal Customers (Operation and Maintenance).
Ensuring that project documentation is kept up to date in the Documentation Archive, that training is carried out on new equipment or installations and that databases, maintenance plans and spare parts are kept up to date in the computerized maintenance management system.
Define detailed technical solutions in the field of Instrumentation and Control, on their own or with the support of Engineering Companies, in projects under their supervision and in projects led by the Mechanical or Electrical Project Engineer.
Gathering and integrating the contributions of Project Engineers from the Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
Providing specialized technical support in the Instrumentation and Control discipline for maintenance work at the Refinery's plants.
Providing technical support in the Instrumentation and Control discipline to other technical areas of the Refinery (Warehouse, Reliability, Engineering, Process Control, Technology, Safety, Environment, Quality).
What you need:
Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Automation and Control Engineering or equivalent;
At least 5 years' experience in industrial design or maintenance;
Proficiency in English;
Driving license;
Dynamism, sense of responsibility and team spirit.
