In the Construction Documentation Readiness department, we create technical documentation as well as M-BoMs for the construction phases of the turbines. We also handle translation requests for Vestas as a whole and deliver documentation for ESCROW deposits. We are responsible for ensuring efficient documentation systems and processes for all technical documentation to be created, maintained, and delivered to both our internal stakeholders and customers in all Transport, Construction, and Service parts of the business. We are focused on digitalization and are looking for a new, enthusiastic team member to advance this in the technical documentation area.
Responsibilities Lead, drive and improve technical documentation system solutions related to configurable and modular single-source content management and distribution.Act as Subject Matter Expert on Windchill SIM and DITA single-source information models, content reuse strategy, stylesheets, and digital thread.Ensure establishment of a two-way digital thread between design documentation and technical documentation source content.Support business case creation for potential business improvement projects and ensure requirements use cases are created.Deliver requirements from the technical documentation teams to IT for solution design development and implement new system design solutions.Create and implement training concepts for users in technical documentation teams and ensure users are trained in relevant CCMS single source system roles.Govern the technical documentation information architecture and co-develop standards with users to increase content reusability. Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Information Management, Communication, or similar.Experience with Windchill SIM and Arbortext.Experience with DITA implementation, multi-purpose publishing, and reuse content strategies.Experience with illustrative and interactive delivery formats such as Virtual and Augmented Reality.High proficiency in spoken and written English.Wind turbine product knowledge (preferred).Structured and pragmatic mindset.Good change management and stakeholder management skills.Highly engaged and forward-thinking, proficient in working effectively under pressing deadlines.Good holistic business understanding.Cultural understanding (global interfaces to colleagues worldwide).
