Our clients include multinationals and SMEs, governments, non-governmental organisations, supra-nationals, and non-governmental organisations.Job DescriptionWe are looking for ICU Nurses to join our projects in Mali, Afghanistan, Niger and Bangladesh. If you have energy and passion and are looking for an exciting career overseas working as part of a multi-disciplined team, this could be the job for you.The successful candidate will hold an academic nursing qualification with at least three years' experience working in the field of critical care. You must be registered to practice with the relevant professional body in your home country. ACLS/PHTLS certification is required for some roles.The ICU Nurse is an essential part of the multi-disciplined medical team and the patient's recovery, responsible for administering intensive and high dependency care to seriously ill and injured patients.Duties and responsibilities:Providing pre and post-operation careResponsible for total patient care including taking vital signs, treating and dressing wounds, setting and administering medicationAssisting the physician with procedures and treatmentsResponsible for careful assessment and monitoring of patient vital signs watching for sudden or subtle changes in the medical condition that might require emergency interventionEnsuring that ventilators, monitors and other types of medical equipment function properly
