The Iberia Retail Manager, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and based in Madrid, will be responsible for managing day to day activities but also bringing vision and driving growth across Spain and Portugal. Building and implement the sales strategy for the Retail channel. Managing the day-to-day relation with Retail distributors. Gather information via market visits and data analysis. Manage the Retail commercial budget and all financial figures like channel Profit & Loss and Value Chain per distributor. Monitor the channel to catch emerging trends, anticipate risks and develop opportunities. Provide business, market and competition analysis based on available data (SMM, Data sharing…). Sales accompaniment with distributor KAM's. Develop yearly promotional plan at category, sku and customer level, with the support of trade marketing manager. (offline and online). Ensure trade plan efficiency, through pre & post promotions evaluation. Coordination of the merchandising agency service. Internal and external functional coordination. 5 years in experience working in retail channel within food industry for multinational companies within the Spanish market. Previous coffee experiences a definite plus. Excellent interpersonal skills and an entrepreneurial spirit. Available to travel across Spain and Portugal. English and Spanish required; Portuguese is a plus. Driving license required.
