Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you should be flexible in your daily routine as The Social Hub is an ever-changing vibrant hotel. Your job is to ensure excellent cleanliness and spot on rooms. You should be used to a flexible working routine and have great communication skills.Your mission, should you choose to accept:You will be reporting directly to the Community Manager and you are mainly responsible for the cleaning of the hotel and student rooms. In addition, you will also be responsible of the cleanliness of the hotels' shared kitchens and public areas.What You'll Do:Make sure the hotel is 24/7 sparkling & super-clean!Coordinate work activities with our external cleaning partners for all of our rooms, kitchens, restaurant, and coworking areaSupervise and follow up on performance of external cleaning partners according to the contracts;Plan and co-organize our student check in and check out;Responsible for the overall quality & cleanliness of the rooms; daily, weekly & monthly workflows;Ensure adequate stock levels of all needed supplies;Organize and structure the storages;Evaluate records to forecast department personnel requirements;Make recommendations to improve quality of rooms and ensure more efficient operation;Examine building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and make recommendations to management.Who You Are:You have at least 2 years experience in a housekeeping supervisor/manager roleYou're fluent in English and can get by in Portuguese (written and spoken), other languages are a bonusYou're a clean and organised master-mindA big star in organising and structuring any Housekeeping DepartmentYou're extremely calm under pressure and a multitasking machine!You're legally allowed to work in Portugal.What We OfferThe opportunity to work and learn at a dynamic, young, international organization; we're a real game changer in the hospitality industryThe chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth.Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuff.
