Housekeeping Manager

We are looking for someone with talent, drive, and a great sense of humor to join our team as Housekeeping Manager at our amazing, hotel-with-a-difference in Porto. We're looking to onboard someone by November2024.What You'll DoMake sure the hotel is 24/7 sparkling & super-clean!Coordinate work activities with our external cleaning partners for all of our rooms, kitchens, restaurants, and public areasSupervise and follow up on performance of external cleaning partners according to the contractsPlan and co-organize our student check-in and check-outPlan and organize our 10 weeks Summer-period in July and AugustResponsible for the overall quality & cleanliness of the rooms; daily, weekly & monthly workflowsEnsure adequate stock levels of all needed suppliesOrganize and structure the storagesEvaluate records to forecast department personnel requirementsMake recommendations to improve quality of rooms and ensure more efficient operationExamine building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and make recommendations to managementWho You AreYou have at least 2 years' experience in a housekeeping supervisor/manager roleYou're fluent Portuguese (written and spoken), other languages are a bonusYou're a clean and organized mastermindA big star in organizing and structuring any Housekeeping DepartmentYou're extremely calm under pressure and a multitasking machine!You're flexible, motivated, social and highly organizedYou're legally allowed to work in PortugalWhat We OfferThe opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company.
