We're looking for a Hotel Systems Administrator (M/F) to help us manage and expand our IT infrastructure across our portfolio. If you have a solid background in hotel systems and love the idea of making everything run smoothly, this role could be a great fit for you. You'll handle our Oracle Hospitality systems and work with a range of vendors to ensure everything's operating just as it should.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Hotel Systems:
Lead the setup and management of Oracle Hospitality systems, including Opera PMS, Micros Symphony POS, and Oracle Payment Interfaces.
Ensure that all integrations run smoothly, connecting Opera PMS with other essential systems like IFC 8 Fidelio.
IT Infrastructure Oversight:
Oversee and coordinate our broader IT environment, handling networking, security, firewalls, and Active Directory.
Project Management for New Hotel Openings:
Plan and manage IT-related projects for new hotel openings, working closely with vendors on systems like phones, Wi-Fi, and payment solutions.
Conduct site visits to verify that IT infrastructure meets brand standards and tech requirements for our franchise partners.
Support Coordination:
Serve as the primary internal point of contact for system issues and project needs, working with third-party vendors and Oracle Support as needed.
Vendor Management:
Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to facilitate smooth implementations of hotel technology, such as Wi-Fi, phone systems, and payment systems.
Key Requirements:
Experience with Oracle Hospitality systems like Opera PMS, Micros Symphony POS, Oracle Payment Interfaces, and IFC 8 Fidelio.
knowledge in IT infrastructure—networking, firewalls, security, and domains are areas where you're comfortable and confident.
Strong project management skills and can see projects through from beginning to end.
Experience in the hotel industry, especially with franchise brands like Hilton, Marriott, and IHG.
Natural problem solver who can balance multiple tasks and work well with different teams.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Previous experience in a similar IT role within hospitality.
IT or project management certifications (PMP, ITIL, etc.).
