Thisbeautiful and well established 5* hotel located in Azores,is looking for aHotel directorto lead their team. We are looking for an experiencedHotel Directorwho is alreadylivingin Azores or isopen to relocate. As aHotel Director, you will be responsible for the entire Hotel operation including personnel matters and financial performance.
What will you do?
Develop and implementstrategic plansfor revenue targets, guest satisfaction, andoperational efficiency.
Oversee budgeting, financial analysis, and forecasting to maximize revenue and ensure profitability.
Provideleadershipto all departments for efficient operations and exceptional guest service.
Monitor guest feedback to enhance overall guest experience.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, service quality, and safety.
Recruit, train, and motivatestaff for professional growth.
Collaborate with sales and marketing for guest attraction and revenue generation.
Buildpositive relationshipswith guests, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Engage in community events to promote the hotel and build local relationships.
Developcontingency plansfor emergencies and ensure guest and staff safety.
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Stay updated on industry trends forinnovation and improvement.
Prepare reports on key performance indicators and financial metrics.
Who are you?
Bachelor's/master's degree in Hotel Management, Tourism Management, Tourism or equivalent.
Previous experience in amanagement positionwithin a hotel for aminimum of 4 years
Proficiency inPortuguese and English required. Any additional languages are a plus
Strong leadership and management skills with a proven track record of effectively leading and developing teams.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
Soundfinancial acumenand experience in budgeting and financial management.
