You are an individual contributor with the ability to meaningfully contribute to and execute minor to moderate Corporate Engineering projects, including some automation. You are capable of independently owning and solving day-to-day IT help desk troubleshooting, onboarding, and offboarding logistics.Overview of responsibilities:Serve as a primary point of contact for Corporate Engineering and IT questions and requests.Manage minor to moderate IT projects, from conception through execution, and ongoing maintenance.Contribute to overarching IT policies, standards, and best practices.Collaborate with Security & People Teams to deliver relevant training.Collaborate with Finance and Engineering to optimize software and equipment costs.Able to visit the Porto office on a weekly basis to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in-person.You may be a fit for this role if you:Have familiarity and some experience employing Corporate Engineering and program management practices.Are passionate about harnessing the power of automation to transform manual processes and constantly seek opportunities to refine and enhance existing systems and processes.Have a passion for being a force multiplier for a fast-moving startup company.Have interest in learning a language such as Golang, Python, or Shell.Have log analysis skills.Have played a part in cross-functional projects and have experience collaborating with your team and adjacent teams to solve problems and assist with IT best practices.Have excellent soft skills, including the ability to adapt communication for both internal and external stakeholders effectively.Although not a requirement, bonus points if:You have any relevant information security certifications.You are familiar with audited processes and how to collect evidence.You have some familiarity with any of the following topics:SIEM, Cloud logging, and monitoring.SAML Single Sign-On, SCIM.Infrastructure-as-code; Terraform.Network traffic analysis and threat hunting.Google Cloud Platform & Google Workspace.Third Party Security Due Diligence.Data center operations
