Your new role
The company is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated IT Helpdesk Coordinator to join their dynamic IT Operations team. This role involves managing a service/team, providing top-notch technical support, and ensuring seamless service delivery across all IT helpdesk operations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience in providing IT helpdesk support and team management, preferably in an academic or educational environment.
Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) principles and experience using ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Zoom, common software applications, and network infrastructure.
Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar technologies are a plus.
Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users effectively, both in English and Portuguese (Portugal).
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex IT issues.
Willingness to work flexible hours and provide on-call support when necessary.
