The Health and Safety Senior Superior Technician is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health and safety within and across the SSBC RGA HTD platform. This role involves preparing safety reports, critically analyzing safety data, defining and monitoring the implementation of action plans, and bridge the contact between several internal and external stakeholders, such as Corporate SSBC, Regions and Production Centers, perform risk assessments. The technician will also participate in investigations of serious injuries and fatalities, support the team in defining safety requirements, and oversee the implementation of strategic action plans, programs and safety campaigns.
Main responsibilities: Safety Reporting and Analysis:
Define and monitor relevant Health and Safety KPI across the RGA HTD platformPrepare periodic safety reports, including indicators, preventive activities, and accident reports.Analyze platform reporting and define necessary actions.Strategic Alignment, Support and Implementation:
Definition of transversal guidelines and follow-up on implementation.Support the team in defining action plans for works, tender specifications, and minimum safety requirements.Monitor the implementation of defined safety measures and action plans.Digital Tools and Processes:
Regular definition and management of Cority-related processesAct as the focal point for GDPR topics.Data Stewart for SSBC RGA HTD dataFamiliar with the use of PowerBI. Incident and Accident Management:
Participation in investigations of serious injuries and fatalities.Manage incidents involving RGA personnel and HTD projects.. Strategic Action Plans and Campaigns:
Definition and follow up on strategic action plans annually and quarterly, respectively.Implementation of strategic action plans.Design and implementation of global safety campaigns.. Safety Routines and Emergency Plans:
Definition and ad hoc update of guidelines for Emergency Plans of the Hydro and Thermal assetsEmployment type: Full Time

Looking for people with the following requirements: Bachelor's/ master degree in: Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field,Minimum of 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity,Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices,Qualified trainer;Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills,Proficiency in using digital tools and safety management software,Strong leadership and communication skills.More than academic knowledge and technical skills, we are looking for ambitious people who are enthusiastic about the future and who bring human skills aligned with our purpose [1] .
