Overview of the job As a Supply Chain Associate Director (Head of Supply Chain), you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing the flow of goods and services within the organization's supply chain. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, including customer service, production planning, purchasing, warehouse management, inventory management, and distribution of finished goods to ensure excellent customer service, increased efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products. You'll be part of an integrated multifunctional and multicultural team in which trust, team spirit, real passion for winning, and leadership are very important. Responsibilities: Implement and maintain efficient and effective end-to-end Supply Chain processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and strong customer service levels through effective production planning. Lead planning and management of the daily, weekly, and monthly production plan (MPS), assess the needs and production capacities (equipment, materials, and labor), ensure the implementation of the plan (planning attainment), monitor its execution, and suggest optimizations. Ensure effective MRP processes are in place and Production Planning supports successful delivery to customers and maintains OTIF in line with business expectations. Oversee inventory planning and management processes to minimize stockouts, reduce excess inventory, and optimize working capital. Implement effective inventory planning and management strategies, define and monitor inventory levels to optimize inventory turnover, reduce excess inventory, and minimize stockouts. Establish and maintain strong purchasing processes to ensure flawless material supply. Identify potential risks and disruptions within the supply chain, such as supplier shortages, transportation delays, or natural disasters, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks. Ensure business continuity and resilience in the face of supply chain disruptions. Ensure accurate demand forecasts are in place, enabling proactive inventory planning and production scheduling. Maintain quality and close relationships with customers, supervising scheduled orders intake until delivery to customer, in order to ensure a relationship of trust and good service. Coordinate and optimize logistics and warehousing activities to ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout the supply chain. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the performance of the supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement
