Job Description:Role OverviewOversee the delivery of multiple successful Oracle Retail software implementations by utilizing knowledge of the retail industry, project management, business development, and lead the Omni Xstore strategy. A proven track record of software application delivery (including Cloud Services) and strong communication skills.To manage client relationships and expectations while providing project governance to onsite and remote project teams.Essential Responsibilities:Represent OLR in sales activitiesManage client relationships, including owning the overall client experience with OLRUnderstanding the applications and the underlying architecture of the Xstore application.Understand business requirements and provide thought leadership around proposed and alternative solutionsIdentify, explore and develop new opportunities with existing clientsCreate both high-level and detailed client proposals with the Sales TeamLine manager for EU OLR Omni Project Team, including Project Managers, Technical Consultants, Business Consultants, and Quality Assurance teams.High-level project planning and scheduling, including staffing, timeline, and budget considerationsWorking with OLR Project Managers, overseeing project budgeting and forecasting with reconciliation to client invoices.Oversee project scope definition and control.Lead project teams to deliver successful projects, with quality delivered.Advise clients on implementation approach, project phasing, and risk management strategiesExecutive-level project status reporting (e.g., steering committee)Ensure continuity of client experiences with OLR, including the transition from project to ongoing supportAssist in the definition and ongoing maintenance of OLR's project methodsRequirementsEssential Skills and Experience:10+ years of direct software delivery experience (retail experience preferred) with a track record of deliveryOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills (presentation, verbal, and written)Previous history of working directly with client executive teamsUnderstanding of Oracle Retail Omni functional concepts and integration points (XStore)Demonstrable track record in successful project and team management, comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures, and principles of project management.Fully capable of managing large projects and by implication, leading multiple project teams when necessaryDesirable Skills and Experience:Understand and demonstrate financial competenceBuild effective risk mitigation plans, processes, and communicationsAble to drive process improvement across the entire project management groupThe high degree of initiative, motivation, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work with clients to build a sense of shared ownership and minimize potential resistanceExcellent planning, forecasting, and organizational skillsEvaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metricsAbility to develop proposals for clients and plans for large package software projectsRetail systems experienceBachelor's degree in business, information technology10+ years in the Retail industry or an associated Retail IT fieldAdditional InformationDomestic and international travel will be required.BenefitsPrivate Health InsurancePrivate Life InsuranceFlex Benefits monthly allowanceWork-from-home friendlyCoffee, Tea, and Water in the officeDifferent social events with a lot of foodGreat Collaborative environmentTraining and developmentEmployer Benefits ProgramA Certified Great Place to Work
