.As the Head of Risk, you will oversee, identify, analyze, and mitigate internal and external risks. You will ensure that Lifthium complies with government regulations, and review factors that could hurt investments and Lifthium's business, as well as be harmful to Bondalti and José de Mello group. You will work closely with Lifthium's management team, as well as the Risk teams from Bondalti and José de Mello group.ResponsibilitiesEstablish an integrated risk framework for Lifthium that identifies and manages risk effectively; Advise, manage, and communicate risk policies, as well as provide regular reports on consolidated risk position and risk management efforts to management team, Bondalti and José de Mello Group risk teams; Ensure that Lifthium employs appropriate best practices in relation to risk management; Develop appropriate structures and processes to ensure that business continuity plans are updated and tested on a regular basis; Collaborate with HSE Manager to integrate risk considerations into broader health and safety initiatives, ensuring a holistic approach to managing potential hazards; Collaborate with other team managers/heads, enabling them to recognize, understand, and effectively manage the "life-threatening" risks within their sphere of operations, and to actively monitor factors that may undermine the effectiveness of the countermeasures; Lead the response in crisis situations, coordinating efforts to address and mitigate the impact of unforeseen events, including communication with internal and external stakeholders.RequirementsMSc degree in business, economics, legal or related field; 10+ years of experience in risk management, preferably within chemicals industry and/or lithium; Proven experience in developing strategic and business plans for risk management, with an understanding of economic/political issues and industry trends in the chemicals industry (lithium expertise is preferred); Well-structured & decisive, with excellent analytical, synthesizing, and organizational skills; High level of integrity and ethical standards, as well as high commitment to results and timelines; Handle high-pressure situations with agility, maintaining a composed demeanor, and effectively leading teams into action; Excellent communication and presentation skills; Collaborative mindset towork closely with several stakeholders, and enthusiastic team player; Proficient in both spoken and written Portuguese and English.BenefitsWe are a merit-based organization, recognizing the impact and results of our teams.
