Adecco Recruitment is looking for a Head of Quality (M/F) for a food industry located in Trofa.

Main Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality strategies that align with customer expectations and needs;

Technical evaluation , monitoring of change processes, and licensing (new lines, new equipment, new processes);

Supervise all stages of the product lifecycle to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards;

Work closely with teams to develop and implement product quality specifications;

Stay updated with sector innovations and government regulations to ensure products comply with best practices and current standards;

Develop and implement quality management systems to optimize production processes and ensure product quality consistency;

Analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement, implementing continuous improvement processes;

Manage teams of product quality control technicians, legal requirements, labeling, and management systems;

Train teams on best practices for quality and food safety.

Requirements:

Higher education in Food Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or similar fields;

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in similar roles within the food industry (mandatory);

Deep knowledge of food safety standards and regulations (HACCP, IFS, MSC/ASC, and HALAL);

Professional experience in team management;

Fluency in English (mandatory) and Spanish (preferred);

Strong planning and organizational skills;

Excellent leadership and communication skills;

Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently;

High level of dynamism and proactivity;

Attention to detail and commitment to excellence;

Availability for travel;

Driver's license.
