We are now seeking an experienced Head of Production & Supply Chain to oversee our manufacturing operations as our new #bloqstar .
This role is critical in ensuring the seamless integration of our outsourced manufacturing, strategic allocation of production across our global partners, and the efficient management of inventory, procurement, and logistics.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in supply chain management, including handling dangerous goods for international shipments, and a proven track record in managing outsourced production partnerships.
What will be your responsibilities Production Management: Oversee production planning, ensuring efficient allocation across manufacturing partners for electronics and metal components; Maintain strong relationships with third-party manufacturers to ensure quality and collaboration; Collaborate with industrial engineering to troubleshoot and support production processes; Supply Chain Leadership: Lead end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and international shipments; Develop strategies for inventory management, optimizing costs and ensuring availability.Manage logistics, ensuring compliance with safety standards for dangerous goods like batteries; Strategic Planning & Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data to enhance efficiency; Align operations with business goals, customer commitments, and growth strategies; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions; Identify and mitigate risks related to suppliers, logistics, and regulatory compliance; Ensure compliance with international regulations for transporting dangerous goods; Maintain quality assurance processes for high standards in production and delivery; Lead and develop a high-performing team across production, procurement, logistics, and inventory management; Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What are the requirements to join us in this position Proven experience (8+ years) in production and supply chain management, preferably in hardware or manufacturing industries; Strong expertise in managing outsourced production, including maintaining and strengthening relationships with third-party manufacturers; In-depth knowledge of supply chain logistics, including international shipping, customs, and compliance with dangerous goods regulations (e.G
