.We are currently looking for a Head of Procurement and Source for an international property management organization.responsabilidades chaveStrategic Sourcing:Develop and implement a comprehensive sourcing strategy to secure the best suppliers, products and prices in Europe; Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships with key partners; Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and supplier performance to adapt sourcing strategies accordingly.Procurement Management:Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and priorities.Manage supplier relationships, track supplier performance, and resolve any issues that may arise.Implement efficient procurement procedures, including the use of procurement software and tools.Work closely with product development, marketing and Creative Design teams to tailor products and services to both channel's customer.Identify opportunities for new product/service offerings that can drive revenue.Cost Optimization:Analyze procurement spend and identify opportunities for cost reduction and costcontainment.Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, anddelivery schedules.Drive initiatives to improve procurement efficiency and reduce waste while maintainingproduct quality.Quality Assurance:Ensure the highest quality standards for products and supplies by working closely with suppliersand conducting quality inspections.Develop and maintain quality assurance and compliance standards for all purchased goods.Inventory Management:Collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize stock levels, reduce excessinventory, and minimize stockouts.Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize carrying costs and improveturnover.Team Leadership:Build and lead a high-performing sourcing and procurement team, providing guidance,mentorship, and performance evaluations.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within thedepartment.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and present regular reports on procurement KPIs, including cost savings, supplierperformance, and inventory metrics, to senior management.competênciasBachelors degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field inHome Furnishings industry, MBA or relevant certification is a plus.At least 10 years of proven experience in sourcing and procurement, preferably within thefurniture retail industry.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Familiarity with procurement software and tools.Leadership and team management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic retail environment
