King's College School, Cascais, a distinguished member of the Inspired Education Group, seeks an experienced and dynamic Head of Physics to lead our Physics department.We offer the Cambridge International curriculum, including IGCSEs, and are set to introduce the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme in 2026.Responsibilities:Lead the Physics department, overseeing curriculum development, teaching standards, and resource allocation.Design and implement a comprehensive Physics curriculum aligned with Cambridge International and forthcoming IB standards.Deliver engaging and challenging Physics lessons to students from Years 7 to 13.Develop and administer assessments that accurately measure student progress.Mentor and support Physics teachers, facilitating professional growth.Qualifications:A degree in Physics or a related field with a strong academic track record.Proven experience teaching Physics at GCSE and IB level with top academic outcomes.Leadership skills and the ability to inspire students through creative lessons.A proactive approach to personal and professional development.This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our Physics department and inspire the next generation of scientists.
