In a nutshell: We are looking for a Head of Credit Risk responsible for overseeing the credit risk management function within an organization, particularly in SME banking and fintech sectors. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to assess, mitigate, and manage credit risks, ensuring the stability and profitability of the credit portfolio. The Head of Credit Risk at Rauva will play a critical role in maintaining the balance between risk and reward, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a risk-aware culture across the organization. Your Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive credit risk management strategies that align with the organization's objectives. Establish risk appetite and credit policies, setting limits and guidelines for credit exposure. Build the team from scratch. Oversee the evaluation of creditworthiness of potential and existing SME clients, using financial analysis and industry insights. Continuously monitor the credit portfolio to identify emerging risks and trends. What's your ideal background? Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in implementing and successfully running invoice finance, loans, and credit card services for SME banking and fintech sectors. Extensive experience in lending for Southern EU is mandatory. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
