We are seeking an inspirational and highly skilled Head of GBS Transformation and Service Excellence to set up our dynamic transformation team in Lisbon. This role is pivotal in driving the transformation of our Global Business Services (GBS) across Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead the search and hiring process for a highly skilled GBS Transformation and Service Excellence Leadership Team. Inspire, manage, and collaborate with a team of eight direct reports. Be an integral part of the GBS Leadership Team, driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence. Transformation: Set and align the GBS strategy with Syensqo's overall strategy. Develop and own the transformation plan for GBS. Establish the transformation capability to achieve the ambition of becoming a Next-Gen GBS organization. Lead the creation and realization of the GBS business case. Stay updated with market developments to bring the latest thinking and best practices to GBS. Set standards and frameworks for PMO. Define and implement the automation and digitization strategy for GBS. Service Excellence: Develop and implement the Service Excellence strategy for GBS. Establish a continuous improvement methodology across all GBS service centers. Collaborate with Service Line Leadership and operational managers to identify and implement process improvement opportunities. Stay aligned with the ERP re-build team to maximize the benefits of investments in S/4HAN and other applications. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a shared services environment. Proven experience in leading areas such as Projects and Transition Management, Service Excellence, or Automation. Must-Have Skills: Experience of leading GBS transformation on a global scale. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to coach, guide, and manage a team effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
